If The Shoe Fits, Wear It – Size 11 (10 1/2) Shoe Giveaway!

Everyone who knows me, knows I have an affinity for shoes and I never wear anything shorter than a 3 inch heel. Considering that I’m about 5’10, in heels, I usually tower between 6’1-6’2, depending the height of the heel.

These are a my new work staple, and they’re about 5 inches:

My coworkers are forever teasing me by saying that I don’t walk, but strut every where I go, which is probably true. The taller the heel, the harder the strut. My friend Pele, says every step I take should end with “boom chicka wawa”.

Now being tall, and loving shoes can have it disadvantages, especially when you wear a size 11!  The bigger the foot the harder it is to find shoes and not all size 11′s are created equal, which is what I’ve recently learned  over the past few months. Even my usual stand by shoe store, Nine West, has recently seemed to “resize” their shoes.  Usually they were my go-to shoe store when I needed something in an 11, but recently, it seems as though their size 11′s are now measured for a size 10 foot. Boo. Hiss.

Another one of my favorite shoe stores is Piperlime. I think I may have purchased about 5 pairs of shoes from them over the past few weeks and out of those 5, only one has failed!

Well, my loss is your gain.

This shoe states it’s a size 11, but I would have to say it’s more like a size 10-10 1/2.  The shoe comes in it’s original box and has never been worn.
