My First TV Writing Credit

Since I haven’t had much time to update my site recently, here’s a quick update.  I’m currently a writer for Don’t Sleep! Hosted by T.J. Holmes. This past month has definitely been a learning experience. Who would have thunk that just a few weeks ago I was sitting in my dreaded office doing shitty HR work for a shitty HR department (Thank-you, George A. Shoenberger, Nadine Porter and John Petrov for ruining a whole HR department one person at a time), and within a matter of days, I’d be packing my car up and moving to NYC.

I moved to NYC on the eve of Hurricane Sandy, then all hell broke loose. What was supposed to be my first day at work, ended up being me sitting in a city coping with a natural disaster.

It’s been a few weeks. I’ve adjusted to being back in NYC, but I do travel home to Maryland on the weekends.  I definitely appreciate my two friends who referred me to the job, as well as my family that have helped me out in the interim.  Make sure you tune in to BET on Wednesday nights at 11pm for Don’t Sleep!
